Kia ora,

innovate change has spent a lot of our time this year working on an important project to reduce alcohol harm with young people.

We've been working with a number of organisations (including Counties Manukau Health, the Health Promotion Agency, Odyssey, CAYAD Auckland (hosted by Auckland Council), Healthy Families Manukau Manurewa Papakura, and the Drug Foundation) to identify, test and refine targeted interventions for young people living in South Auckland to reduce alcohol related harm and delay drinking for as long as possible.

You were involved in this project by sharing your thoughts, experiences and ideas. We have finished the work on the project now and have delivered a set of insights which details what we learned from talking with experts, young people like you, and research literature. Following our co-design work with young people (where you were involved), we have also delivered a business case detailing two of the interventions/ideas you helped to come up with to reduce alcohol related harm with young people. The organisations who asked us to do this work are now considering what the next steps can be for the ideas.

If you would like to see a three-page summary of the project to give you a sense of what we learned and what we suggested as interventions, follow the link below.

If you would like more information, please let us know.

Thank you so much for working with us.
